We bring to you Day 4 of our not so mini-web series of brilliance. Special thanks goes out to ASD-N for allowing us to shoot this video in the new Brilliant Studio at James M Hill High School in Miramichi, NB.

In this video, we tackle a common activity found in makerspaces: hacking. After a quick visit to the dollar store, we found some miniature street lights that have been in our set since we started shooting. They didn’t have any LEDs in them when we started, but after a simple modification and some recollection of grade 6 circuits, we were able to turn them into something brilliant.

As always, there is a special treat at the end of this video for those of you who stay with us long enough. We wish you well as you continue your Hour of Code activities.
